Through this website, I offer:
• Portfolio viewing
• Booking inquiries via contact form or email
• Information about services including: Book Cover Design, Book Interior Design, Book Illustration, Book Formatting for Print and eBook, Custom Digital Art Commissions
Free consultations may also be offered at my discretion.
Projects may be initiated by:
• Submitting the contact form on the website
• Submitting an order form on the website
• Emailing me directly at hello@lorimdesign.ca
No services will be rendered without formal communication and agreement.
All Book Design projects require a signed agreement before any work begins. This may be a:
• Custom agreement tailored to the client and project
• Standard freelance contract for smaller or repeat projects
Each contract will outline project scope, timeline, deliverables, payment terms, and rights usage.
Payment terms will be clearly stated in each contract. A non-refundable deposit is typically required to secure your project in my schedule. For details, please refer to my Refund Policy.
All designs remain the property of Lori Mannell - Art & Design until full payment is received.
Upon payment, the appropriate usage rights will transfer to the client as defined in the contract.
Clients are not permitted to resell, alter, or redistribute any designs without written permission unless stated otherwise in the contract.
Lori Mannell - Art & Design is not liable for:
• Losses or damages resulting from the use of my designs after delivery
• Any errors in printing or eBook formatting if changes are made after final files are delivered
• Issues arising from third-party services or platforms
All services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind unless otherwise stated in writing.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be handled in the courts of Ontario.
I reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
